Short Description

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy to drive growth in Egypt, expand export markets, and strengthen market share in both B2B and B2C segments.
  2. Identify and assess market opportunities—locally and internationally—through in-depth research and analysis.
  3. Shape pricing, positioning, and go-to-market strategies to maximize market penetration.
  4. Strengthen Kandil Glass’s brand positioning and visibility in key markets.
  5. Conduct research and market analysis to identify emerging trends and competitive gaps in addition to understanding the evolving needs of B2B clients (e.g., distributors, retailers, and corporate clients) and B2C consumers (end users) to set marketing strategies, product development decisions, and customer experience initiatives.
  6. Monitor competitor activities and identify opportunities to differentiate Kandil Glass from competitors.
  7. Develop a pipeline of product innovations and enhancements that align with market demand, and business growth objectives.
  8. Collaborate with product development, design and operations to successfully launch new products.
  9. Develop and implement brand strategies that enhance brand awareness, equity, and preference in both B2B and B2C markets.
  10. Ensure consistent brand messaging and positioning across all marketing channels and customer touchpoints.
  11. Monitor brand performance and consumer perception, leveraging insights to strengthen the brand’s market position.
  12. Oversee the creation of compelling marketing materials that align with the brand’s identity and business objectives.
  13. Develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategies, including SEO, SEM, social media marketing, email marketing, content marketing, and online advertising.
  14. Leverage data analytics to optimize digital marketing campaigns and maximize ROI.
  15. Enhance Kandil Glass’s online presence and customer engagement through targeted digital initiatives.
  16. Drive lead generation, conversion, and inbound marketing strategies to attract and nurture potential customers.
  17. Lead the Customer Experience team to develop and implement strategies that enhance customer satisfaction, retention, and advocacy.
  18. Map and optimize the customer journey, ensuring a seamless experience across all touchpoints.
  19. Utilize customer feedback, including Net Promoter Score (NPS), to continuously improve service and engagement.
  20. Design and optimize the inbound marketing funnel to attract, convert, and nurture leads.
  21. Work with the digital marketing and sales teams to improve lead conversion rates and maximize engagement with potential customers.
  22. Ensure a seamless transition from marketing to business development and sales, providing prospects with a compelling and value-driven experience.
  23. Enhance trade marketing initiatives to strengthen relationships with distributors, retailers, and trade partners.
  24. Work closely with the Trade Marketing Manager to develop and implement effective trade marketing programs that drive sales through various channels.
  25. Optimize channel strategies to maximize product availability and visibility.
  26. ·Plan and execute industry events, trade shows, and exhibitions to enhance brand visibility and market positioning.
  27. ·Develop PR strategies to strengthen brand reputation and manage external communications.
  28. ·Oversee the creation and distribution of promotional materials, corporate gifts, and giveaways to support marketing campaigns.
  29. ·Ensure seamless event execution, from planning to post-event analysis, maximizing engagement and ROI.
  30. Utilize data analytics, sales performance metrics, and market insights to optimize marketing strategies, pricing, promotions, and resource allocation.
  31. Align marketing investments with business priorities, ensuring impact on revenue and profitability.
  32. Conduct forecasting and financial analyses to guide decision-making in domestic and export markets.
  33. Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources across all marketing functions.
  34. Monitor marketing expenditures, analyze performance, and provide regular reports to senior management.
  35. Lead and mentor a high-performing marketing team across brand, digital, trade marketing, and customer experience functions.
  36. Collaborate closely with the containers and tableware executives, business development, product development, sales, finance, and operations teams to align marketing with business objectives.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s in marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. A Masters (MBA or equivalent) is preferred.
  2. 20+ years in marketing, with at least 10 years in a senior leadership role overseeing both B2B and B2C marketing. Experience in FMCG and manufacturing industries is a strong plus.
  3. Strategic Market Growth: Deep understanding of market expansion strategies in Egypt and export markets, including distribution channels, competitive landscapes, and regulatory considerations.
  4. Data-Driven Decision-Making: Ability to interpret market data, assess opportunities, and challenge assumptions to devise high-impact marketing strategies.
  5. Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of budgeting, pricing strategies, P&L impact, ROI analysis, and cost-benefit evaluations, ensuring marketing investments drive measurable business growth.
  6. Product Innovation: Skilled in identifying market gaps, assessing product viability, and overseeing innovation pipelines, ensuring alignment with growth objectives.
  7. Brand Positioning & Equity: Expertise in defining brand strategy, ensuring consistency in positioning, and strengthening brand equity across local and international markets.
  8. Digital & Performance Marketing: Knowledge of SEO, SEM, performance marketing, e-commerce, CRM, and digital engagement strategies, with the ability to challenge and guide digital teams.
  9. Customer Experience & Engagement: Ability to evaluate and enhance customer experience strategies, ensuring both existing and potential customers are effectively engaged and elevating customer satisfaction, loyalty, and advocacy. Strong focus on improving Net Promoter Score (NPS) and customer loyalty.
  10. Trade Marketing & Channel Management: Strong grasp of trade promotions, retail strategies, distributor management, and B2B partnerships, ensuring maximum product visibility and sales impact.
  11. Event & PR Leadership: Assess, prioritize, and oversee the selection, planning, and implementation of corporate events, exhibitions, sponsorships, PR initiatives, and CSR activities, ensuring alignment with business objectives, maximizing ROI, and ensuring effective execution while challenging implementation quality.
  12. Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration: Proven ability to challenge and guide functional heads in different marketing and customer service specialties while navigating internal dynamics effectively.
